Quinoa Hummus Cakes

Quinoa Hummus Cakes are a yummy breakfast option. The aroma of this recipe feels like heaven once anyone has it and wants it again and again.


1 cup cooked quinoa

½ cup hummus, plus more for garnish

½ cup minced red pepper

2 celery stalks, minced

2 scallions, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

½ tbsp olive oil

Tomato slices


1. In a medium bowl, combine quinoa, hummus, red pepper, celery, and scallions. Season with salt and pepper.

2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil once heated. Form quinoa mixture into palm-sized patties and brown in pan, working in batches, about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan.

3. Serve with additional hummus and tomato slices.
