No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies, This recipe is a little different, because generally, we eat baked cookies. This snack is so yummy and preparation is also very easy with few ingredients.
2 cups quick-cooking oats, uncooked
⅔ cup peanut butter
1 (3 ½ oz) can flaked coconut
¼ cup cocoa
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups sugar
½ cup milk
¼ cup butter or margarine
1. Combine oats, peanut butter, coconut, cocoa, and vanilla, mixing well; set aside.
2. Combine sugar, milk, and butter in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour over reserved oat mixture; quickly stir to mix well.
3. Immediately drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets; let cool. Carefully remove from waxed paper to serve.
